Our History
Joe Mueller began Mueller Construction Company as a residential construction company in 1981.
In the mid 1980’s the company refocused its efforts to the food and manufacturing sectors as a provider of millwright and maintenance services and as a manufacturer of conveyors and food processing machinery. Joe has retired, but his sons Michael, Larry and John have continued the business into the present.
While the company has grown in the scope of its operations, it is still very much a family business with all the employees considered an extension of the family. The company still maintains the cooperation and sharing of responsibilities that allows flexibility in a small organization. Flexibility is important to our customers because of the need to fit our work to schedules of our customers and to service a wide range of machinery.
Mueller Construction Company now operates out of its 94,000 square foot headquarters building in Sherman, Texas. Our employees travel to project sites throughout the United States and to Mexico and Canada. Wherever or whenever planned capital projects or emergency production restoration requires quality millwright and welding services, Mueller Construction Company is prepared to keep customers on schedule.
